Let's see what I did this semester...

1) Assessing websites.

  • We had to chose some educational websites and assess them according to a rubric.

                     2) Working with wikis.

  • In this workshop we had to write about an animal, and post pictures and a video. I chose the Manutara -which is extinct, okay teacher? jiji but it's not fantasy- because I have a major obsession with Easter Island.

3. Story bird.

  • Vivi and I created this story for intermediate students. The content was past simple. I remember we laughed a lot creating this.

4) Listening and podcasting.

  • "The dreamed concert" is a story of a group of friends that went to a concert and a lot of crazy things happened.
  • I remember we had a lot of fun creating this. When we were deciding the topic no agreement was reached at first, but then, everything went okay. Did I say it came up so funny?

5) Flashgames.

  • We searched the web looking for interesting flashgames we could use with our students. All our ideas were posted in the wiki.

6) Working with PowerPoint.

  • As you may know, I'm the ultimate 2pac fan. I created this PPT presentation about some facts most people don't know about him. Did you know he studied ballet? 1313

Journal First Entry: 'Killing Time'

Sometimes, when I got nottin' to do, I just like to hang out with friends and have some fun with'em. My friends are a cornerstone in my daily living. When I need some rest, I just talk to them and I'm sure that I'll feel relaxed and relieved.
Also, I totally love music, I think that if somebody has no passion, and dosen't wanna live anymore, That person has nottin' to do in this world. When I feel like that, when I feel like nothing matters and nothing is relevant, of course, I listen some rap and some R&B and I'm pretty sure that everything's gonna be allright.
When I kill some time, and it's a beautiful day, I'll probably go to the beach by myself or if somebody wanna join me, Welcome! It's very relaxing to sit on the sand and just listen to the waves; breathing fresh air always helps!
It's good to know that having God in your heart, eventhough you try all this stuff, nothing could make your life feel full, fo'sho ;)
